Full Service Design Package
With our Full Service Design Package we will be there for the client every step of the way, from concept formation, to the big reveal!
We typically work with clients throughout the course of 3 phases: The Design Phase, The Construction Phase, and the Styling/Install Phase. While we highly encourage hiring us for all 3 phases – in order to take stress off of you and ensure the design and vision is carried all the way through completion – it is not required.
Here is more insight into what is involved in each Phase:
Phase 1
The Design Phase
This phase is where our designer takes insights from your “First Design Meeting” to create a design uniquely tailored to your home, needs, and style.
By the end of this phase you will have almost everything you need to move forward with construction and/or installation!
Included:
- Initial Consultation and Design Meetings
- Mood Board and Initial 2d Drawings
- Full Design Document
- Detailed Layout(s)
- Full specification sheet with all products needed
- 3D designs and cabinetry details (when applicable)
Phase 2
The Construction Phase
Products are ordered and construction takes place.
In this phase, we act as “your advocate” handling the hundreds of questions and decisions that would normally come your way throughout this process. We keep both our extensive knowledge of you and your needs as well as the design in mind during this entire process so you can have the least stressful remodel possible.
Included:
- Site meetings with contractors and trades
- Stain samples/finish details are finalized
- Any necessary product adjustments or design pivots happen here
Phase 3
The Styling Phase
Furniture, rugs, window coverings, shelf and table styling all happen in this phase.
This is the final phase before the big reveal! In this phase we will bring everything together and style your space in a way that beautifully represents your style and will function well for you and your family.
We will also bring in a professional photographer at this time to perfectly capture the changes in your new space. These pictures will be for you to keep and reminisce for years to come.
Included:
- Window treatment installation
- Rug and furniture installation
- Wall, table, and shelf decor styling
How It Works
Other Services:
90 Minute Virtual or Local Design Consultations:
For clients who only need a little help with direction on their project, this consultation only service might be the perfect option!
Clients are welcome to consult our lead designer about any number of questions they may have: color, layout, lighting, furniture, style, etc.
- For these consultations, we will send an email ahead of time asking for details pertaining to your specific project — pictures and/or videos of the space, inspiration pictures (if they have any, not required), and descriptions of desired work.
- Our lead designer will spend some time prior to the meeting reviewing that information, in order to maximize your 90 minutes.
- After the meeting she will provide an email with her notes from the meeting and any inspiration, product images/descriptions, paint colors, etc. that are applicable to the project and our discussion.
This service is $500 and payment is required prior to the meeting.
Small Service Design &/or Decorating:
By hiring us for Phase 1 only, you will be provided with design documentation that will have nearly every detail that a contractor will need to execute the design. Some things included in the design document include: Moodboards, 3D designs of each space, measurement and product specifications (when applicable), custom cabinetry design drawings, and more!
All pricing is based on the scope of work of your project.
Schedule an initial design consultation with us today to see if our services might be a good fit for your needs!
The initial design consultations payment is required prior to the meeting. Whether the client chooses to proceed or not, those 90 minutes will be a wealth of information they can use moving forward with their home project.
Frequently Asked Questions
Absolutely. While I have my own list of contractors and trades I trust and value, I am also happy
to work with anyone you know and trust as well.
This is very project specific and depends on a multitude of factors. The design phases of my
projects range all the way from 3 months to 2 years. Construction can be anywhere from 1
month to 2 years. Installations usually are completed within a week barring all the materials are
available. The timeline will be factored after we know the specifics of your project.
If they are not custom pieces and have not been installed yet we usually have a short window of
time that we can return product, these policies will vary with every company.
I include one major revision in my fee proposal, so after phase two is complete we will meet and
discuss the plan in detail. Any changes need to be discussed at this time and corrections will be
made accordingly. If there are significant changes after that first round of revisions there will be
an additional fee charged at my hourly rate until the design is complete and agreed upon. Once
we are in the construction phase changes need to be kept minimal otherwise there can be
significant delays and major impacts to the budget.
Rate:
Fixed Rate: Every project will be estimated after the initial design consultation and cost will be determined by the specifics of that project. Predetermined costs and phases will be provided via a fee proposal included with the contract for approval before beginning the project.
Our initial design consultations are $150 for up to 90 minutes and payment is required prior to the meeting. These consultations will have our designer’s initial design ideas provided verbally throughout the meeting, whether the client chooses to proceed or not, those 90 minutes will be a wealth of information they can use moving forward with their home project.
