At Devan Rose Interiors, we are always trying to add more character and warmth to otherwise dull spaces. We love to add cozy elements like soft blankets, rich textures, and warm lighting can make your home a retreat where you can relax and unwind. Appeal to all 5 Senses

Interior design goes far beyond simply making a space look beautiful. It’s rooted in psychology and research, carefully crafted to shape how you experience your home. From the impact of color on your mood to ergonomics that promote comfort and reduce stress, every detail is thoughtfully considered. Great design doesn’t just catch your eye — it engages all of your senses, creating a space that feels like home in every way.

Action Step: What are your favorites? Your favorite scent of candle, your favorite color, your favorite texture of blanket, your favorite sounds (music, wind chimes, fountain, etc), your favorite things to bake? Start by incorporating more of these things in your home.

Cohesiveness Matters

There is a difference between uniform and cohesive. Uniform is everything is the same, you don’t stray from the color palette or the style of design. Cohesive on the other hand is different (maybe unexpected) elements WORKING TOGETHER to make your home feel like your own through and through.

This can be much more difficult to accomplish on your own. A select few are really good at this, but the general population of people have a hard time executing this step.
